50 FACTS ABOUT ME

Long story short, I'm weird. And there are probably a lot of things you don't know or wouldn't assume about me. So here are 50 random facts about me!


Everyone can enjoy this almost 4 year old picture. Also side note, I think I am going to go back to my natural hair color. Or maybe even darker. I'm so sick of my blonde.


1. I HATE corn tortillas.

2. I pronounce crayons as "crans".

3. I also pronounce avocados as "al-vocados".

4. I am 5'10.

5. I hate exercising, but if I had to choose a way to work out, it would be lap swimming.

6. I am allergic to animals that shed.

7. I use to collect polished rocks.

8. I have to have airflow at night, or I feel like I am going to have heat stroke.

9. My shoe size is a 9/9.5.

10. I drive a 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

11. Blush pink is my absolute favorite color.

12. Dr. Pepper is my go to, but Mountain Dew is my runner up.

13. I love popping my toes!

14. I'm not OCD about a lot of things, but I have to pop my fingers in a specific order.

15. I pull on my hear when I feel nervous or anxious.

16. I am a side sleeper. I read somewhere that nightmares happen when you sleep on your back, and when I feel like having an intense dream, I fall asleep on my back. And guys, I swear it really works!

17. I have pretty bad hyper-pigmentation on my face from acne scars, so I wear face makeup everyday.

18. I wish I would have went to cosmetology school.

19. Freshman 15 is more like freshman 30. I went up 4 sizes after I graduated high school.

20. Criticism bites me bad.

21. I think I am so funny, but if you don't personally know me you wouldn't think the same.

22. My right pinky finger is shorter and fatter than my left one. I call it my Nemo finger.


23. I prefer salty over sweet.

24. Chick flicks are my favorite, but I'm also a sucker for horror/thrillers!

25. I am right handed.

26. I have IBS. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)

27. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons!

28. My maiden name is Martinez, but I don't speak Spanish.

29. I was going to get a Geology degree, but just decided to get my generals instead.

31. Chick-Fil-A is my favorite. Panda Express is also a favorite.

33. I will not drink warm water. It has to be cold!

34. I like to know other peoples business, when it is non of my business.

35. I hate paying for shipping. I could put in a lot of money's worth into my online cart, but as soon as shipping is like $7, I just say forget it.

36. I also prefer to shop in-stores than online.

37. I despise licking envelopes

38. I hate cooking.

39. I hate the snow.

40. I love hamsters, but I suck at keeping them alive. Since being married, I have had 4 of my own (3 are buried in my parents backyard, and we gave our last one away), 7 grand-babies (2 of which died), and 7 great grand-babies (but sadly they all got eatenšŸ˜±). Long story short, I bought a hamster at the pet store that was already pregnant. I thought she looked fat.



41. I can beat anyone at a game of Mario Kart Wii. I always play Birdo! She is my favorite!

42. I am a dipper! I love to dip anything and everything, especially in ranch!

43. I love thrifting.

44. I work retail.

45. My first paying job was working concessions at the baseball fields.

46. I am number 2 of 5 kids.


47. I have my concealed carry license.


48. I played basketball, volleyball, and was on the swim team.






49. I get terrible motion sickness.

50. I keep anything and everything that has sentimental value. It is really hard for me to get rid of stuff, even papers!

Hello! I haven't done any postpartum updates or anything like that since having Weston, but I thought it would be so fun to share with everyone what a typical day in the life of a new mom is like! Weston is almost 3 months old which is crazy! He sure does keep me busy and I am loving every second of it! 1:28 AM This is what time our morning started today! We do co-sleep, which there is lots of controversy about, but it has worked so well for us and I am so glad we have done it! Our Car Accident.

For those who don't know, a couple months ago we were in a car accident! Let's start from the beginning! The last picture in mason.  RIP. It was May 23rd, 2016.  We were up at the outlet mall, but we weren't really finding anything. We decided that we were going to head back to Orem, to go to ULTA! As we were walking to the car, Joseph said that we should go to Cabelas, and of course I didn't want to and threw a fit. (not really) I seriously feel like I win every little tiny argument we have! Joseph is just that good to me! Boy, do I sure wish we would have went to Cabelas instead. We were only like 10 minutes or so on the freeway, when we were side swiped by a semi truck.  I was to busy paying attention to my phone, but all the sudden I heard Joseph yelling! It was more of a controlled confused tone in his voice. BABY MUST HAVES

Hello lovely people of the internet! Back when Weston was a newborn, I posted a blog post of all my favorite newborn products that I loved using and more importantly what were helpful in those first couple of months home. You can read that post  here!  Now that Weston is almost 7 months old, which is still so hard to believe, I wanted to share products that we have been loving! These are all products that we have used since he was around 2-3 months old and up. I will make sure to link the exact products that we use!  These are products that I would recommend to anyone! PUMA SOCKS Okay. Listen carefully. This is probably my #1 recommendation for all you moms out there! I received some Puma socks at my baby shower, and they are THE BEST SOCKS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.
