WESTON'S FOUR MONTH UPDATE

She's my girl! Check her out!

You guys! How has it already been 4 months! It has seriously gone by so fast, I can't believe it! Weston is getting so big, and it makes me so sad! But watching him learn and grow has been so much fun! We are almost a week past his 4 month mark! We had our 4 month checkup today! He got his second round of shots and he did so good! He cried, but we didn't have any tears! He is 25.5 inches tall (68th percentile) and weighs 12.8 pounds (5th percentile)! So he is very tall and VERY skinny! We are in a size 2 diaper already! He still is practically bald except for his little baby mullet in the back! But we are pretty sure he is going to be blonde and we are like 95% sure that his eyes will stay blue!

THINGS WESTON LIKES

He LOVE, LOVE, LOVES reading books. I started reading with him at around 1 month, and it is honestly his favorite thing! I am sure it is just the pictures that he really likes, but still. We read about 5 books at a time, multiple times a day! Like I have this obsession with buying books now! If you guys want cute books, seriously check out Seagull Books! That is where I have gotten like all of our books! They are so fun, and so cheap!

He likes to smile and laugh! Except for the camera. He can be smiling and laughing, and then see a camera and go blank faced. But, his smile is so cute especially with his 2 teeth! He especially likes anything that makes his stomach drop! Like, when we scare him, he laughs so hard! It is so funny!

Oh, HE HAS 2 TEETH! Like, I just think that it is crazy! He got them at 2.5 months, which is like extremely early! He also has a pretty mean bite. Breastfeeding was not as fun during the time his teeth were coming in. But it is totally good now. Teething in general has not been fun. Some days he is just super upset and not himself.

He also likes taking a bath, but like what baby doesn't? He kicks so hard that water splashes out of the tub! He isn't a huge fan of getting out though!

THINGS WESTON HATES

He hates his carseat, sometimes! He hates being in it for a long time! Which is going to make our road trip back to Missouri in December super hard! So wish us luck!

Since he has been teething, he absolutely hates bottles! Which has made it hard to go back to work. Today, I only worked for 3.5 hours, and the whole time I was gone he didn't eat anything. My dad finally put water in his bottle and he drank a little bit of it. But that's it. So, I'm gonna need a different plan! He was liking baby food, but he ended up getting sick, and since then he won't take it. So I don't know what to do!

Weston is also not a fan of laying down! He is good to lay down for like a few minutes, and then he is done! We finally bought a little high chair and he loves sitting in that! Which was like such a good purchase! He will sit in it for longer periods of time which is so nice! He also is learning how to like tummy time! He will turn his body a bit, but that is pretty much it.

THINGS WESTON IS LEARNING

Weston can now roll from his tummy to his back! Which is super fun and exciting!

He has been able to grab things for awhile, but his hand eye coordination has become lots better!

He also has learned that he can yell just to yell. And when I look at him, he just smiles and continues to yell. It is just so funny, and I laugh every time that he does it!

Oh, he also grunts! He discovered that he can grunt like a week or two ago, always grunts. Especially when I put lotion on him! He HATES lotion!

He is also getting better at recognizing peoples faces! Especially my dad! He absolutely loves him! And my Grandma Linda! We call her grandma grandma. But he loves smiling at her too!

We are seriously so close to sleeping through the night! He is eating like 2 times a night, but only eating for a few minutes and then falls back asleep. Like, I cannot wait until he is sleeping all night long!

Well, that is all I can think of for right now!
Until next time,
xx
