FUN AND CHEAP DATE IDEAS

Hello everyone! Since it is almost Summer I have gathered my favorite cheap yet fun date ideas all together to make this post for you! You are never to old to go out of a date! Some of the best dates I have ever been on cost little or no money at all! 

BOWLING

Bowling is so much fun! Even though I am the worst at it, I always leave the bowling ally smiling because of how fun it is! The best way to keep this cheap is to find out the bowling specials! Going on that day instead of another day of the week could save you money! If you want to spice up bowling a bit, I have the funnest (is that a even a real word) game ever for you! So you buy skittles, and every color represents a certain way you have to bowl! For example, red is backwards, green is granny style, yellow is eyes closed, and so on! I went on a date and we did that and it was so fun! 

STAR GAZING

This sounds super cliche, but star gazing is the best! Getting a blanket, or even just sitting on the tail gate will work! I love talking, and it makes for the best date!  Also, looking over the city lights can be pretty romantic too!

DINNER AND A MOVIE

Okay, I know what you are thinking. Dinner and movies aren't cheap!? But they can be! If you don't have enough money for a fancy dinner, go get some McDonald's! Seriously, you do not need to go out to dinner! Just go get some fast food, take it to a park, and eat it! Movies can also be more money than you want to spend it, but I have a better alternative for you! Why not download one instead! You can now download movies and t.v shows off of Netflix! Take an ipad or computer and go anywhere to watch it! 

TANDEM BIKE RIDING

This is such a fun idea if you are bored and it is a beautiful day outside! If you have never tried it is a must! It is weird getting use to,but once you get it figured out, the rest of it is a breeze! 

SWIMMING

Just going to the local pool or lake is so much fun! Especially in the summer! I know that is where I am going to be all the time! Being with a cute guy or a group of friends and just spending the day in your swim suits makes for the best memories! Just make sure to take lots of pictures! 

GOING TO WALMART

Okay, Walmart is my favorite place! I am sure I would love target just as much, but we don't have one here! But just walking around Walmart and looking at random stuff is so much fun! If you are with a group, my favorite thing to do is play the Walmart game! So here is how it goes! You split up into teams, and each team takes a piece of paper and go around the store writing a list of specific items. Make sure to keep them specific. The more specific they are, the harder it is for the other team to find them.  Examples would be a Tetra Color Flakes (fish food) or Women's Essential Ballet Flats in size 7. We normally do about 10 items! Sometimes the best items are the ones at the end of the isles that are just random stuff! Once each team creates their list, they meet and swap papers. The first team to collect all the items win! No cheating though!! This means you cannot use your phone to look up and see what the item is and/or looks like! This is so much fun, just try not to get kicked out!

HIKING

Go and explore the great outdoors! Going to a canyon or even a trail can be a blast. Although, go either in the late morning or evening, because hiking in hot weather is miserable. Also, pack a lunch and picnic when you find some nice rocks to sit on! 

ARCADE

Arcades are my favorite! Although you do spend quite a bit of money to win only 5 air heads, and 2 bouncy balls. But, if you can a Nickelcade that is even better! Whenever we go, we both get $5 and when it is gone it is gone! And if you don't want it to be super busy, don't go on a Friday or Saturday night! Go during the week and in the middle of the day, there is most likely not going to be a lot of people! P.S Skee Ball is my favorite, and I will be buying my own machine sometime! 

HAVE A FIRE

Fires are so much fun! Just get some camp chairs, make some s'mores, and enjoy being outside! Also, roasting hot dogs will make it even better! If you want to make it interesting, throw some Funky Flames in there! 

GAME NIGHT 

Even having a simple game night is such a fun date idea! Whether it is board games, Wii games, or card games, don't forget to have your snacks on hand! If you are looking for an easy card game for two, my favorite is called Kings Corners! You can find instructions here! 

THRIFTING

Okay, thrift shopping is so much fun! If you are feeling a little brave, a way to make it even better is to give each other a certain amount of money! $10 should do! Find each other outfits that are within the given amount of money! The outfit can look good, or totally be a granny outfit! Then, go for some ice cream!
